Training content featured different mobile money, information, operational procedures and scenarios in the local language – enabling the women to leverage their mobile phones as a Business Tool for the first time.
Access to digital credit services and market information like commodity prices were some important outcomes of the since most of these women. The project enabled them to make informed decisions about when, where and at what price to sell their commodities – using their mobile phone to access real time market price information from district and regional markets to increase their profits.
